Book Talk Series: Reading with Pleasure

With the objective of fostering a vibrant reading culture at Saint Francis University (SFU), the SFU Library has organized the Book Talk Series: “Reading with Pleasure”.

Book authors, some of whom are members of staff of our University, will be invited to share their inspiring and captivating journeys in writing. This programme will provide an invaluable opportunity for authors and audiences to interact and connect. Participants would very likely be able to discover the person behind the pages and perceive truth beyond words.

For our inaugural event, the Library is honored to have Professor Albert Lee serve as the speaker. Professor Lee, a Research Professor at SFU, is noted for his exceptional achievements in the health, education, social, and legal sectors. He has an extensive portfolio of publications which include academic papers, books, articles, and textbooks on family medicine and health promotion.

Professor Lee’s research focuses on health promotion and disease prevention, with a particular emphasis on cementing connections between schools and communities and enhancing the delivery of primary healthcare—which are key to improving the overall health of children and adolescents.
