The Library offers a diverse collection of scholarly journals, trade journals, general interest magazines, and popular magazines. Bound journals are stored on stacks and organized according to classified order, while current journals are displayed on designated shelves for easy access.

The journal collection is designated for in‑library use only and is identified by the prefix “S” or “SERIAL” in the call number. In addition to print journals, the Library provides access to a wide range of electronic journals for convenient online use.

A selection of local and overseas newspapers is available in the Library. Current issues are displayed on the newspaper racks, while back issues are stored on shelves. The Library will retain newspapers for the most recent month only.

Library users may also access Chinese and English newspapers online through WisersOne (慧科新聞), South China Morning Post / ePaper (南華早報), and China Infobank (中國資訊).
