The Library of Saint Francis University (SFU) was officially named the “Library in Memory of Mr. Lam Sing Kam” in 2009 in appreciation of a generous benefaction made by the wife of the late Mr. Lam to strengthen its growth and development.
Spanning over 16,000 square feet, the SFU Library is located on the 4th floor of the campus building. As a key hub of academic resources, it offers essential support for the University’s teaching, learning, and research activities. Its diverse collections cover a broad range of disciplines and are available in various formats, including print and electronic books, journals, and multimedia materials.
With a wide variety of physical and digital resources, the Library also features a mix of versatile study spaces designed to meet the different needs of students. Formal and informal areas are earmarked for individual and group study purposes, with discussion rooms and study pods providing an ideal environment for collaborative learning and group work. To help maximize the user experience, the Library is equipped with state-of-the-art networked computers, multifunction photocopiers, Octopus-operated printers, terminal workstations as well as a wide selection of portable devices.
