The Quiet Study Area offers individual, private spaces for users who require a silent environment. It contains 18 workstations, each separated by partition walls and equipped with a power socket for personal electronic devices. To maintain a disturbance‑free atmosphere, talking in the area is strongly discouraged. Users who need to make phone calls or engage in conversations or discussions should relocate to public areas or other library facilities, such as Young’s Corner or the group discussion rooms / study pods.

Users are expected to keep the area as quiet as possible. The Library may require users to leave if they fail to follow the regulations after receiving adequate warnings from staff.
