As the new academic year is about to begin, please join our orientation programme to learn more about our services, resources, and facilities. This would help you achieve success in your studies.

In the 45-minute orientation session, you will get to know:

• Loan rules
• Way to search, renew or request a print book
• Way to view an e-book and subject-specific e-resources
• Self-study facilities and group discussion rooms
• Laptop loans and printing / photocopying
• Opening hours

Library Survey Highlights 2023

The Library User Survey 2023 was conducted from 13 March to 14 April 2023 to collect comments and suggestions on our services, resources and facilities. Over 1,000 completed questionnaires containing useful feedback were received.

To express our appreciation to the respondents, more than 30 gifts generously donated by publishers and vendors were given out to the lucky draw winners. The prize presentation ceremony was successfully held on 4 May 2023 at the Learning Commons.

Eligible Participants

1. This survey is open to all current CIHE/CBCC/CAPS students and staff;
2. External members including Alumni with valid Library cards are also welcome to participate except the Corporate members with Readers’ cards;
3. This is an anonymous survey. No personal information will be collected;
4. If you are interested in entering the Lucky Draw, please provide your contact information (i.e. Student/Staff ID, name, email address and phone number) at the end of the survey. This information will only be used for purposes related to the Lucky Draw.
5. The results of the Lucky Draw will not be affected by your answers and written comments.

Lucky Draw

1. Each participant is suggested to take the survey only ONCE. Multiple entries of the same participant will only be counted ONCE;
2. Prizes will be drawn in mid-2023. The Lucky Draw results will be posted on the Library website and all winners will be contacted individually by email. The Library is NOT liable for any non-delivery or non-receipt of email(s) by the winners;
