To support research on systematic review, the Library will hold an online workshop titled Cochrane Library: Searching Evidence-Based Systematic Reviews. Cochrane Library is a premier collection of databases offering rich information in Health Sciences and is widely used to support evidence-based practice and inform healthcare decision-making.
A professional trainer from Wiley will be invited to conduct the online workshop.
The workshop will discuss how to:
- Navigate the Cochrane Library and its suite of databases
- Search effectively through systematic reviews and protocols in the Cochrane Library
- Access Cochrane Clinical Answers for concise, clinician-friendly summaries
- Understand the systematic review process, including:
- Formulating clinical questions
- Conducting comprehensive searches
- Applying eligibility criteria
- Collecting data
- Assessing risk of bias
- Analyzing results
