Library Workshop on Cochrane Library: Searching Evidence-Based Systematic Reviews

To support research on systematic review, the Library will hold an online workshop titled Cochrane Library: Searching Evidence-Based Systematic Reviews. Cochrane Library is a premier collection of databases offering rich information in Health Sciences and is widely used to support evidence-based practice and inform healthcare decision-making.

A professional trainer from Wiley will be invited to conduct the online workshop.

The workshop will discuss how to:

  • Navigate the Cochrane Library and its suite of databases
  • Search effectively through systematic reviews and protocols in the Cochrane Library
  • Access Cochrane Clinical Answers for concise, clinician-friendly summaries
  • Understand the systematic review process, including:
    • Formulating clinical questions
    • Conducting comprehensive searches
    • Applying eligibility criteria
    • Collecting data
    • Assessing risk of bias
    • Analyzing results
