The Library was established in 2009 and was subsequently named “Library in Memory of Mr. Lam Sing Kam” in appreciation of a generous benefaction earmarked by the wife of the late Mr. Lam for the development of the Library. Covering an area of over 16,000 sq. ft., the Library is located on the 4th floor of the Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC) campus.

The Library collections feature materials in a variety of formats such as print books, e-books, print journals, e-journals, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs, thereby providing essential support for all academic programmes offered in the Institute / College.

The Library provides a comfortable and relaxing environment for study and reading purposes. Equipped with networked computers, Octopus-operated multifunction photocopiers / printers, audio-visual tools, self-study carrels and group study rooms, the Library complex now has more than 100 terminal workstations and portable devices for public access. Users may opt for either the formal or the informal study zone, which offer a total of 665 seating spaces. Whereas individual carrels along the glass walls can be used for formal, quiet study, the causal chairs in the informal sitting areas can be used for leisure reading. Users may also reserve the group discussion rooms for group study purposes.
The Library endeavours to provide users with scholarly resources and helpful services that support their learning, teaching and research needs.
